Review:
Whether it is coal-mining, transport, farming, houses, chapel or school, Beamish has it all. The town has houses, shops and professions aplenty, and Rowley station evokes transport a long time ago. A superb way to discover what it was really like to grow up in the North East 100 years ago. And of course there is a tram ride, or horse-drawn bus to get around the site!
