Museum of Lincolnshire Life

Title:Museum of Lincolnshire Life

Contact: 01522 528448
County: Lincolnshire
Access Details: Mostly on one level, some upstairs

Description:
Housed in an old militia barracks, this is an interesting collection of old Lincolnshire life.

Review:
A varied and stimulating collection - the Lincolnshire Regiment museum is included, as are World War One tanks - the first tanks were built in Lincoln. There is an extensive rural collection, as well as shops, houses and a schoolroom. A small, mostly indoors museum but well worth a visit if you want to capture how different life was 100 years ago.
