Aimed at primary-age children, this is an excellent starter to studies of the Holocaust, and could be used with pupils of all ages up to and including A Level. Simply told, this book raises all kinds of issues of interpretations, of knowledge, of being a bystander, rescuer or perpetrator, and also works on the level of a simple story simply told.
