Review:
This is really several museums in one - the farm is set in the 1920s, and horse powered. It contains plenty of rare breeds. The workhouse, explores life in a relatively humane workhouse before the coming of the New Poor Law of 1834. The workhouse chapel and schoolroom are pure victorian at its best. There is also a large display of rural life, as well as 1930s and 1950s rooms/houses. There is even an Anderson Shelter outside the farmhouse! An excellent place to feel how life was in the last century.
