Title:ICT across the curriculum: ICT in history
Author: Key Stage 3 National Strategy
Publication date: 2004
ISBN:
Keystage:Keystage 3
Description:
Part of the ICTAC pack, free from the DfES (ref 0192-2004G)

A useful little booklet with some good examples of how to use ICT in teaching and learning history. The examples come on a CD-ROM so you can try them for yourself: - bayeux tapestry, religious change, data handling, the Atom Bomb, and the Cold War. All practical and effective ways of implementing ICT effectively in your curriculum planning. Worth going to the DfES website and ordering a free copy - the pack is easier to use than the DfES web ordering scheme! The ICTAC pack is probably already in your school - there are sections for each subject - do try and find it - it is worth it. Honest!
