Ideas for Planning and Assessment; Starters and Plenaries; and Thinking and Learning are all focused on. Much of the exemplar material is taken from articles that previously appeared in Teaching History, the journal of the Historical Association, as well as ideas based on the author's own practice. The pack contains plenty of guidance on translating 'strategy speak' into classroom and department use, as well as some ready to use examples.
