Description:
A flying collection of aircraft covering 100 years of flight.
Review:
A grassy airstrip and eight hangars house an amazing collection of flying machines - from a replica Bleriot 1909 to a Spitfire and Sea Hurricane and post war trainers. There is also an interesting collection of veteran and vintage cars linked to the Shuttleworth family, including the 1901 steam-powered car pictured here.
Summer weekends often feature flying days when you can see these amazing planes in action - but come early, these get very busy!
A superb place to help you feel what it was like in those early pioneer days of flying, when things were so much more casual than today.
