Review:
Well known for its superb collection of railway locomotives, both steam and diesel/electric, this museum is much more than a collection of steam trains. It has an unrivalled archives, for research, as well as a huge collection of anything and everything to do with railways - from tickets and posters to road vehicles and coaches. It also has one of the best museum education departments to help your visit go well. Excellent!
