Description:
An Inventory is a list made, when someone dies, of their goods. Tudor Inventories can tell us a lot about life in Tudor times – about someone’s house, possessions, work and so on. What can we tell about Clement Swallow from this inventory?
Despite the original spellings, pupils should be able to work out what each item is, and thus decide whether Clement was rich or poor. A good way to get a feel for Tudor life, and how things were beginning to change. A bit of a challenge too ,that Year 8 enjoys!
