Interrogating a cartoon to really squeeze the evidence.
The Nazi-Soviet Pact, signed in August 1939, came as a bit of a bombshell. We are used to looking at this event from the British point of view, or even from the German or Soviet point of view. This simple 'powerpoint' activity (one slide) takes a Polish cartoon and asks questions of the cartoon. Teachers will be able to extract lots of information, as well as help students develop their work on interpretations.
