This includes a set of WW1 photographs from Australia from what is fast becoming an essential resource, Flickr Commons. The 'Commons' publishes historic photo-image collections from Europe, USA and Australia - on a wide range of topics;- The Depression, World War 1 and topics from social history from later Victorian to mid-twentieth century. All the images in Flickr Commons are reusable. And if you haven't already noted it, there is information on the vast EU project, Europeana, which crashed under the weight of hits on its launch but is due out again in full robust form next month.
