English Heritage have a new list of ‘Discovery Visits’ for schools.
These are aimed at all age ranges, and focus on history and also on cross-curricular links, and are extremely popular. The usual cost is around £60 for 30 pupils. The interactive tour of York nuclear war bunker particulary caught my ehe as an innovative way to teach the Cold War at GCSE! More details and a brochure are available from their website.
