About us Alf Wilkinson taught history in a comprehensive school in Bedford for many years. His responsibilities included Head of History and ICT Co-ordinator. He ran the Historical Association NOF training, and now teaches part-time in Spalding. He is also Professional Development Manager for the Historical Association. Sue Wilkinson taught history in a comprehensive school in Bedford, before leaving to become a full time mum. She has since developed materials for, amongst others, History Online and is currently writing Key Stage 3 text books. Peter Britton set up Appian Way Software before becoming managing director of Actis and setting up History Online. He is currently exploring new developments in on-line learning.
